Zeke tries to make new friend

Zeke is learning to welcome all guests. He brushes their ankles and enjoys being petted. Recently a rare special guest seemed to puzzle him. Lucy was smaller than Zeke but barked!

Lucy stayed in the room with her special bed and always wore her collar. At breakfast Lucy’s owner brought Lucy to the dining table. The first day Zeke approached her carefully. Snif…snif…snif… Lucy chose to look away.

During her stay Lucy relaxed and stayed in her own space taking seaside strolls with her owner.

Zeke stayed in the house watching this four-legged guest from a distance. When this special guest left Zeke simply took another nap.

Its rare to have a dog stay here and so Zeke may have to wait a long time to have another chance to try to make a new four-legged friend.
